Cardiovascular training
cardiovascular training involves the heart and blood vessels. any physical
activity that raises your heart rate is often referred to as "cardio". Along
with fat burning properties, cardio also lowers your resting heart rate,
decreases blood pressure, and strenghtens the most important muscle in your
body... the heart.

Nutrition
Poor eating habits can contirbute to poor fitness, low energy levels, and
the development of such lifestyle-related diseases as heart disease, some
types of cancer and obesity. At Santa Barbara Body Sculpting we will help
you chose fods that supply the appropriate amounts of nutrients. Many
factors influence our eating patterns, which is why we teach you to get
adequate amounts of protein, carbohydrates, and fat in your diet.

Weight training
The importance of weight training is crucial to strengthening your bones,
muscles, ligaments, and tendons. All of which have a positive influence on
your appearance, risk of injury, and your metabolic rate. Strength training
can positively effect your body composition. For example if you were to
lose 5 lbs of body fat and gain 5 lbs of muscle you will weigh the same but
you have a leaner, firmer appearance!
